This recent summer, as we experienced the earth becoming even warmer, the surrounding grasses dried to a beautiful orange.

My first ceramic collection is a response to this observation; the grass softened and diffused the evening sun, a fleeting moment of beauty in times that can be just as equally daunting.

Each piece is completely different in shape and decoration - It was a joy to allow the forms to organically appear as I threw and trimmed them. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did making!
